These Fabric Art journals feature a folding flap style closure, which not only protects your pages when the journal is not in use but also allows the journal to expand as you add more art.The journal is secured by a double seam binding strap that wraps around its cover and fastens by looping around a complementary button on the front.
(*Tip for Expanding Journals: To accommodate an expanding art journal, the double seam binding strap can be snipped on the inner side of the flap closure. Knot the new end to prevent fraying. This modification provides a longer, single strap to wrap around your journal as it fills up)
